Alan Viglione M.D.

Dr. Viglione is a concierge internal medicine physician at Montecito Concierge Medicine.  In addition to primary care he provides fee-for-service house or hotel visits for those who simply need urgent medication attention.   He specializes in fitness, nutrition, and crafting personalized wellness plans for his patients.  He attended Boston College for undergraduate studies followed by a Masters degree at UCSB in Molecular Biology prior to obtaining his medical degree (M.D.) at SUNY Upstate Medical University in NY.  He completed residency in Internal Medicine with particular interests in sports medicine and technology and medicine, including bedside ultrasound.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and holds a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  

​Dr. Viglione lives and breath’s what he preaches:  He enjoys running, outdoor sports and hiking, weight lifting, boxing, classical concerts, exploring healthy recipes, reading and continual education, and family walks down State street.  He views balance in mind and body as the essence of health.
