Liza Presser Belkin, M.D.

Dr. Liza Presser Belkin has practiced pediatric and adult Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology in Santa Barbara County since 2004. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara. Dr. Presser Belkin completed her undergraduate work in biological sciences at Stanford University, graduating in 1993 with multiple honors. She obtained her medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1998 where she was awarded the Anna Marie Chirico Award and the Lillie M. Erk Prize for outstanding academic achievement and for her dedication to patient care. Dr. Presser Belkin then completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. She subsequently returned to the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center to complete a Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Presser Belkin returned to Santa Barbara in 2004, when she became a staff Allergy and Immunology Physician at Sansum Medical Clinic. In 2008 she established her private practice at the address listed above.

Dr. Presser Belkin has been inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. From 2006-2008 she served as the president of the central coast allergy society. She is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American College of Allergy and Immunology, American College of Physicians, California Medical Association, and the Santa Barbara County Medical Society.

Dr. Presser Belkin lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, Richard Belkin, a physician who practices Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and their two children. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Presser Belkin enjoys spending time with her family.
